Please join us in congratulating the Bay of Plenty Steamers rugby team on a massive shift this season. After a fantastic first half (& some incredible tries by the boys), a strong second half comeback by Hawkes Bay in the NPC quarter final, saw them just pip Bay of Plenty 38-28 in Tauranga to set up an NPC semifinal showdown with Wellington. We’d like to mihi the team and wider Steamers whānau who filled the stands on Sunday making it such a memorable occasion (which included an exuberant Taylor Bros contingent – face paint, signs and all).
